October 12, 2006

Project Update: Certificate of Approval has been submitted to the Ministry of Environment this week, for review/approval. The Bathurst Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) is expected to arrive onsite in January and the Langstaff TBM in April.


May 31, 2006 Public Information Forum

On May 31, 2006 York Region will be hosting a Public Information Forum to inform the public that the Permit To Take Water has been granted for this project. Residents will be able to get a project update as well as learn and ask questions about the construction schedule and potential impacts. The session will be held at the:
    Richmond Hill Golf and Country Club
    8905 Bathurst Street, Richmond Hill (North of Highway 7)
    6:30 pm to 8:00 pm

The  YDSS First Annual Compliance Report 2005 has been prepared by York Region that addresses the annual reporting requirements set out in a letter from the Minister of the Environment dated October 1, 2004, in relation to the York-Durham Sewage System (YDSS) projects.
